The Bridgewalk
About
Created in 2021, The Bridgewalk is a biannual student-authored publication of brief nonfiction reviews and articles, creative writing, and various puzzles and games. The purpose of The Bridgewalk from its inception has been to spotlight and support the development of student voices on topics of individual interest. Newton Falls Junior High and High School students are encouraged every year to submit their original written work to English Language Arts teachers and editors Ethan Gross and Scott Szeljack, who help these students through the editorial review and publication process. Each issue of The Bridgewalk contains a distinct central theme that unites all of the individual student submissions. Once an issue is finalized, it is shared digitally online and printed for the Newton Falls Junior High and High School student body, staff, and administration.Newton Falls Exempted Village Schools welcomes readers from the district, local community, and others to recognize and celebrate these original student contributions. We thank you for your continued support, and we hope you enjoy reading and sharing The Bridgewalk!
